Case No.54 dated 28.11.2017 U\/s 13(2) r\/w 13(1)(d)\/7 Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 for demand and acceptance of illegal gratification of Rs.7,000\/- (Rupees Seven Thousand) from a complainant for submission of enquiry report in his favour and help him get RoR for land over which complt. was in possession for last 30 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-15251 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Odisha-Vigilance.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"152\" height=\"85\" \/>Today i.e. on 09.11.2021, the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Phulbani convicted Sri Digal, RI and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000\/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), and in default of payment of fine, to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for a period of 6 months for the offence U\/s 7 Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sri Pulasti Chatria, Inspector Vigilance, Berhampur Division had investigated the case and Sri V.V. Ramdas, Spl.
