Case No.22 dated 25.09.2007 U\/s 13(2) r\/w 13(1)(c) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988\/409 IPC for misappropriation of Govt. rice under Sampurna Gramina Rozagar Yojana(SGRY-I &amp; II) scheme issued to the GP and cash from GP fund amounting to Rs.6,40,845\/-.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, i.e. on 05.11.2021, the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur convicted Sri Behera, Ex-Secretary and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 1 year and to pay fine of Rs.10,000\/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), and in default of payment of fine, to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 months for the offence U\/s 409 IPC. The Hon\u2019ble Court further sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 1 year and to pay fine of Rs.10,000\/-(Rupees Ten Thousand), and in default of payment of fine, to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 months for the offence U\/s 13(1)(c) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Both the sentences are to run concurrently.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sri Daitari Ghadei, Ex-Inspector Vigilance, Berhampur Division, A\/p-Inspector Vigilance, Balasore Division had investigated the case and Sri P.K. Dora, Addl. Spl.
