SUB-INSPECTOR OF POLICE, GOP POLICE STATION, DIST-PURI ARRESTED\u00a0BY VIGILANCE WHILE ACCEPTING RS.2,000\/- BRIBE.\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuttack,26\/9\/2021( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 26.09.2021, Sri Radhashyam Nayak, ASI of Police, Gop Police Station, Dist-Puri has been <strong>apprehended <\/strong>by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division <strong>for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of <\/strong><strong>Rs.2,000\/- (Rupees Two Thousand)<\/strong> from a complainant in order to release him and his spouse on bail in Gop PS Case No.410\/2021.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17737 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Radhashyam-Das-300x198.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Radhashyam-Das-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Radhashyam-Das-310x205.png 310w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Radhashyam-Das.png 650w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 26.09.2021 wherein the accused Sri Radhashyam Nayak, ASI was caught by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division in side the Gop Police Station while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.2,000\/- (Rupees Two Thousand) from complainant. Following the trap, <strong>simultaneous searches have been launched<\/strong> on the Govt. residential quarter of Sri Radhashyam Nayak, ASI at Gop and his rented residential house at Sunelo, Kendrapara town. He<strong> has been arrested <\/strong>and will be forwarded to the\u00a0Court<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S.
