\nAustralia. This is the first time the company is participating in the program,
\nand earning this accolade is a monumental achievement given that it has been a challenging

\nMcGrouther, Managing Director, DHL eCommerce Solutions, Australia said, “This
\ncertification recognizes the fantastic efforts each employee puts in, to create
\na positive and inclusive work environment despite such a turbulent year. The exemplary
\nteamwork and leadership shown by colleagues and supervisors, especially over
\nthe past 18 months, is phenomenal. It goes to show that our approach of being extremely
\ntransparent in our communications to all employees, is working well and this is
\ndefinitely the highlight of our success.”<\/p>\nThe
\nboom in e-commerce sales over the past 18 months, combined with a 90% reduction
\n[1]<\/a>in
\nair freight capacity and new COVID safety protocols presented challenges that would
\nhave been unimaginable during pre-COVID times. Yet, through DHL’s “People First”
\nculture, the company has navigated successfully through these challenges, by
\nbeing open and transparent with employees and showing tremendous resilience to
\nadjust and adapt as required.\u00a0 <\/p>\nA
\nrecent internal “Future Workplace” survey conducted by DHL showed that 100% of respondents
\nfavor balancing working from both home and office, with 96% opting for the
\npreference to spend about two to three days in the office each week. The survey
\nalso recorded a year-on-year growth in employee engagement despite decreased
\nface to face interactions. “The accelerated shift to work from home, where
\npossible, has led to happier, more productive employees. We continue to assess
\nthe status quo, look to a hybrid approach to work, while ensuring that \u00a0our people continue to foster strong team
\nengagement,” said McGrouther. <\/p>\nEvery
\nyear, Great Place to Work\u00ae, a global people analytics and consulting firm,
\nassesses the work experience of employees through their certification program.
\nThis time around, 100% of the team participated in the Great Place to Work
\nsurvey to provide their feedback about the company. Submissions were judged
\naccording to the following criteria: Credibility, Fairness, Pride and
