Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Deputy General Director of T&T Group and Mr. Martin Neubert, COO & Deputy Group CEO of \u00d8rsted, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic collaboration on offshore wind in Vietnam.<\/span><\/h5>\nAccordingly, the two groups will use and promote\u00a0the experience, strengths and capabilities to bring high efficiency for the
\nprojects. Both sides cooperate in developing three projects in Binh Thuan and
\nNinh Thuan provinces with a total estimated installed capacity of nearly 10 GW
\nand total expected investment of about
\n30 billion U.S. dollars\u00a0in 20 years.<\/p>\n
Do Quang Hien, Chairman of T&T Group, said: “T&T
\nGroup has planned a strategy to develop renewable energy and gas to power
\nprojects by 2030 with a vision to 2045, in line with the national strategy and
\nplanning of energy. This cooperation will help T&T Group accelerate the
\nimplementation of this strategy, bring valuable international experience and financial
\nresources in the implementation of projects in Vietnam.”<\/p>\n

\nof \u00d8rsted Asia-Pacific, said: “\u00d8rsted
\naims to reach 30 GW of offshore wind power by 2030. To support this ambitious goal, we need to work closely
\nwith a partner like T&T Group, who bring a deep understanding of the market
\nand have an impressive track record in developing large scale
\nenergy projects in Vietnam.”<\/p>\n

On the same day, T&T Group and Smart Universal
\nLogistics N.V, a leading Belgian\u00a0company in sustainable energy and
\nenvironmental infrastructure development, also signed a MoU on cooperation in developing desalination plants
\nusing\u00a0wind power to produce fresh water for agriculture and aquaculture in
\nVietnam.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
T&T Group is one of the leading private economic groups in Vietnam, operating in seven\u00a0core areas,
\nincluding energy sector. In the next 10 years, the power supply
\ncapacity of T&T Group (LNG and renewable energy) is expected to reach about
\n10,000 – 11,000 MWp, accounting for about 8 per cent\u00a0of total installed
\ncapacity of power in\u00a0Vietnam’s electricity system.<\/p>\n
