Green Score empowers property seekers in&#13;<br \/>\nSingapore to learn how eco-friendly their present or new home is, and to support environment-friendly lifestyles. The Green&#13;<br \/>\nScore of a project is based on the proximity to public transport (within 400m),&#13;<br \/>\ngreen building rating assessment&#13;<br \/>\nsuch as&#13;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www1.bca.gov.sg\/buildsg\/sustainability\/green-mark-certification-scheme\">BCA Green Mark certification<\/a>, and&#13;<br \/>\nsustainability awards won from &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiapropertyawards.com\/en\/\">PropertyGuru\u00a0Asia&#13;<br \/>\nProperty Awards<\/a>&#8216;, Asia&#8217;s&#13;<br \/>\nbiggest property awards program, with additional relevant criteria to be added&#13;<br \/>\nin the future. The score&#13;<br \/>\nranges from 1-5, denoting average, good and excellent sustainability rating of&#13;<br \/>\nthe project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img src=\"https:\/\/release.media-outreach.com\/release.php\/Images\/Thumb\/500x0\/174021\/guru.jpg#image-174021\" width=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>Green Score addresses&#13;<br \/>\nthe increasing demand among property seekers to make sustainable life choices,&#13;<br \/>\nespecially around choosing their future home. PropertyGuru&#8217;s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyguru.com.sg\/property-guides\/propertyguru-consumer-sentiment-study-h2-2021-54021\">H2 2021 Consumer Sentiment Study<\/a> found that 82% of&#13;<br \/>\nSingaporeans are willing to consider paying more for an environmentally&#13;<br \/>\nsustainable home, with their top three sustainability features comprising smart&#13;<br \/>\ncooling systems, high-insulation windows and doors, and solar panels. This willingness&#13;<br \/>\ndemonstrates more ecological&#13;<br \/>\nand socially conscious behaviour across generations, from <sdt showingplchdr=\"t\" docpart=\"CFC980D2D3684BBF9E14AC3A29951768\" sdttag=\"goog_rdk_9\" id=\"226729745\"\/>Millennials (83%) and Generation X (79%) to Baby Boomers&#13;<br \/>\n(86%). Markedly, 81%&#13;<br \/>\nof Singaporeans voiced the need to preserve forested areas from urban&#13;<br \/>\ndevelopment, despite the city state&#8217;s limited land space. <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p><b>Hari&#13;<br \/>\nV. Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, PropertyGuru Group,&#13;<br \/>\nsaid<\/b>, &#8220;As the region&#8217;s proptech&#13;<br \/>\nleader, we felt it was our responsibility to enable and drive this change in&#13;<br \/>\nsustainable urban living. Since its soft launch in February 2021, nearly 2 million&#13;<br \/>\nproperty seekers have viewed the Green Score.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>We commit to making changes in our own business to meet&#13;<br \/>\nthe goals stated in the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and to building a better home&#13;<br \/>\nfor our future generations. In time, we hope that sustainable living will be a&#13;<br \/>\nnatural way of life, and each of us will place environmental considerations&#13;<br \/>\ntop-of-mind.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p><b>Green initiatives at PropertyGuru Group <\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>As part of its commitment towards&#13;<br \/>\nsustainability and to fight climate change, PropertyGuru has undertaken several&#13;<br \/>\ninitiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Published&#13;<br \/>\nover 100 green living guides to help increase the awareness of sustainable living practices among over 37 million property seekers that&#13;<br \/>\nvisit PropertyGuru&#8217;s leading marketplaces in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia,&#13;<br \/>\nand Vietnam. <\/li>\n<li>Introduced awards categories to recognise sustainable&#13;<br \/>\nprojects at its &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiapropertyawards.com\/en\/\">PropertyGuru&#13;<br \/>\nAsia Property Awards<\/a>&#8216; for property developers in Southeast Asia and key&#13;<br \/>\nmarkets in South Asia, East Asia, and Australia.
