\nAugust 2021 – Falcon Mobility is excited to announce the launch of its new
\nlightweight Ultra-Lite 2 electric wheelchair<\/a>. With this launch, the
\ncompany aims to provide the elderly and disabled communities with a new
\naffordable and lightweight wheelchair option, making it more convenient for
\ncaregivers to transport their wards’ personal mobility aids to and from a
\nvehicle.<\/p>\n

\nmodel is the evolution of Falcon Mobility’s popular Ultra-Lite “D” motorised
\nwheelchair. Weighing only a mere 16 kilograms \u2013 excluding the weight of the
\nbattery and footrest \u2013 the Ultra-Lite 2 is one of the lightest and most
\nportable wheelchair options in Singapore. It features an improved controller
\nthat affords users greater manoeuvrability, leading to a much smoother ride.
\nThe upcoming 2022 version will even feature an attendant control bracket that
\nallows caregivers to mount the controller on its handle to steer the electric
\nwheelchair.<\/p>\n

\nprovide its users and their caregivers greater convenience. The device’s armrests
\ncan now be flipped up to facilitate patient transfer from the side, making it

\nand vice-versa. Furthermore, should the user’s or caregiver’s smartphone run
\nout of battery when they are outdoors, they can now charge their phones with the
\nUltra-Lite 2 using a USB cable as the electric wheelchair features a dedicated
\nUSB port for mobile devices.<\/p>\n
