It was ascertained that the saw mill was running without any valid license. <strong>During the raid, saw mill accessories along with timber of 7 Cft. worth<\/strong> <strong>Rs.2 lakh <\/strong>were detected and seized. In this connection, one forest case vide No. 3 of 2021-22 has been registered under Town Range, Sambalpur and is under investigation.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17070 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210821-WA0007-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210821-WA0007-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210821-WA0007-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/IMG-20210821-WA0007.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another Operation today i.e. on 21.08.2021 by Forest Wing of Vigilance Directorate and Cuttack Vigilance Division with the assistance of local forest staff of Narsinghpur East Range under Athagarh Forest Division, a joint forest raid was conducted at 3 villages namely Ekadala, Debabhuin and Bhukta under Narsinghpur PS, Dist-Cuttack regarding hoarding of illegal timber and for violation of Timber Transit Rule-1980. <strong>During the raid, timber of 106.24 Cft. worth<\/strong> <strong>Rs.2,85,465\/- (Rupees Two lakh Eighty-five Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-five) <\/strong>were detected and seized.
