{"id":16790,"date":"2021-08-06T16:10:05","date_gmt":"2021-08-06T16:10:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/?p=16790"},"modified":"2021-08-06T16:10:05","modified_gmt":"2021-08-06T16:10:05","slug":"head-clerk-and-chowkidar-cum-night-watcher-o-o-sub-registrar-nimapara-dist-puri-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/2021\/08\/06\/head-clerk-and-chowkidar-cum-night-watcher-o-o-sub-registrar-nimapara-dist-puri-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-bribe\/","title":{"rendered":"HEAD CLERK AND CHOWKIDAR-CUM-NIGHT WATCHER, O\/O SUB-REGISTRAR, NIMAPARA, DIST-PURI ARRESTED\u00a0BY VIGILANCE WHILE ACCEPTING BRIBE\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuttack,6\/8\/2021 -Today i.e. on 06.08.2021, Sri Prakash Kumar Das, Head Clerk and Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar-cum-Night Watcher both of office of Sub-Registrar, Nimapara, Dist-Puri have been <strong>apprehended <\/strong>by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division <strong>for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000\/-<\/strong> (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from a complainant in order to process registration of sale deed relating to purchase of land.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 06.08.2021 wherein the accused\u00a0Sri Prakash Kumar Das, Head Clerk and Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar were caught by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000\/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from\u00a0 complainant. As per the direction of Head Clerk Sri Prakash Kumar Das, complainant handed over the bribe money to Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar, who received the same, counted it with his both hands and kept it in his shirt pocket. The bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar and seized in presence of witnesses.\u00a0\u00a0Both hands wash as well as shirt pocket wash of Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Following the trap, <strong>simultaneous searches have been launched<\/strong> on the house of Sri Prakash Kumar Das, Head Clerk at village Mulagada, PS-Kakatpur, Dist-Puri. Sri Prakash Kumar Das, Head Clerk and Sri Harihar Das, Chowkidar-cum-Night Watcher <strong>have<\/strong><strong> been arrested<\/strong> and will be forwarded to the\u00a0Court.\u00a0\u00a0In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S.
