KALAHANDI ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE IN INTERCEPTION CASE."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuttack,22\/7\/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )-On 21.07.2021, Vigilance Officers of Koraput Division had intercepted Sri Ugrasen Patel, Sub-Inspector of Police, Golamunda PS, Dist. Kalahandi at 6 PM near Golamunda bus stand, while he was plying towards Golamunda Police station in his Bajaj Pulsar motor cycle. During interception, a sum of Rs.2,00,000\/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) was found from his possession which he could not account for satisfactorily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Assessment and valuation of assets based on searches carried out at his office and residential locations is under progress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS case No.14 dt.21.7.2021 U\/s 13 (2) r\/w 13(1) (b) Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against Sri Ugrasen Patel, Sub-Inspector of Police, Golamunda PS, Dist. Kalahandi.
