\nOutReach<\/a>\u00a0– 29 June 2021 –\u00a0Chubb<\/a> announced today the appointment
\nof Mari Rachelle [Cielo]<\/b> Canta<\/b> as the new Country President for
\nthe Philippines with effect from 1 July. She replaces incumbent, Peter van
\nRatingen who has been appointed to the role of Head of Consumer Lines for
\nAustralia and New Zealand. <\/p>\n

\nnew role, Ms. Canta will oversee the operations and business development
\nactivities of Chubb’s key business lines in the Philippines namely, Property
\n& Casualty as well as Accident & Health Insurance. She is also
\nresponsible for the management of regulatory relationships, strategic
\npartnerships and affinity relationships. She will report to Edward Ler, Chubb’s
\nHead of Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

\nCanta joined Chubb in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer for the Philippines. Her
\nwell-balanced acumen on all facets of finance, planning and controllership as
\nwell as operational risk is complemented by her strong general management
\nskills. Prior to joining Chubb, she worked for a decade with AON, moving to
\nroles of increasing responsibility in the Philippines as well as Singapore.
\nShe has had extensive experience in the
\nbanking sector, from M&A integration to board and senior leadership team
\nresponsibilities. The strong foundation for her career began when she started
\nas an auditor and advisor at one of the large international accounting firms.<\/p>\n

\nthis new appointment Paul McNamee, Chubb’s Regional President for Asia Pacific
