This&#13;<br \/>\nhighlights that despite the raging pandemic, many companies are still committed&#13;<br \/>\nto maintaining quality products and services in hope to thrive through the&#13;<br \/>\ncrisis. Award presentation ceremony will be held on 10<sup>th <\/sup>June 2021&#13;<br \/>\nat the S200 meeting room series in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre&#13;<br \/>\nafter the GS1 HK Summit, where Dr. Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce&#13;<br \/>\nand Economic Development, will deliver a speech at the officiating session.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/release.media-outreach.com\/release.php\/Images\/Thumb\/500x0\/147063\/CCS-2020-awardees.jpg#image-147063\" width=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>Since its inception 10 years ago, the&#13;<br \/>\n&#8220;Consumer Caring Scheme&#8221; has commended more than 150 companies that&#13;<br \/>\ndemonstrated excellence in customer service. In 2021, more than half of the&#13;<br \/>\ncompanies (49 companies) received the endorsement for 5 consecutive years or&#13;<br \/>\nmore &#8211; 12 companies were recognised for &#8220;10 Years&#8221;, 29 companies for &#8220;5+ Years&#8221;&#13;<br \/>\nand 8 companies for &#8220;5 Years&#8221;. This showed Hong Kong business community always pursues&#13;<br \/>\nconsumer care as top priority by making continuous improvement to enhance customer&#13;<br \/>\nexperience and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>Commissioned by GS1 HK, a consumer survey conducted&#13;<br \/>\nby KANTAR Hong Kong (&#8216;Consumer Survey&#8217;) revealed that 73% of the respondents feel&#13;<br \/>\nmore confident in the companies with &#8220;Consumer Caring&#8221; logo. The result indicated&#13;<br \/>\nthe Scheme&#8217;s high level of integrity and credibility, supported by strong trust&#13;<br \/>\nfrom the industry and public stakeholders. Being assessed based on the &#8220;4C&#8221;&#13;<br \/>\nprinciples and core values, including &#8220;Consumer Centric&#8221;, &#8220;Conforming to&#13;<br \/>\nCommitment&#8221;, &#8220;Championing Quality&#8221; and &#8220;Caring for Staff&#8221;, the recognised&#13;<br \/>\ncompanies are evaluated through field visits, interviews and the&#13;<br \/>\nabove-mentioned Consumer Survey, with reference to the&#13;<br \/>\ninternationally-acclaimed Efficient Consumer Response (ECR).\u00a0 The assessment concludes companies&#8217; service&#13;<br \/>\nand performance on consumer care.
