Cuttack has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000\/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from \u00a0complainant Sri Sanjib Kumar Behera of Tulasipur, PS. Bidanasi, Cuttack in order to settle a hand loan dispute between complainant Sri Behera and another person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 5.4.2021.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Sri Pranab Kishore Praharaj, ASI was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division near Sarala Bhawan, Cuttack while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.20,000\/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand)\u00a0from complainant Sri Behera.\u00a0The bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Praharaj and seized in presence of witnesses. Both hands wash of Sri Praharaj gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him.\u00a0\u00a0His residential quarter at Police colony, Cuttack is being searched.
