Poems written by Sharad Joshi, HarishankarParsai and Prem Chand inspire me and help provide newer perspectives to life. Another good part about poetry is that it brings me immense peace from within. While today\u2019s generation might not enjoy the yester year\u2019s classics as much as we did, I still urge people and most importantly the youth to spare few moments from their from their busy lives and either read or listen to poems.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<strong>Himani Shivpuri aka Katori Amma<\/strong>, whose poetry stole many hearts when she was hospitalized due to COVID, shares\u00a0<em>\u201cWhen I am alone, poetry gives me company, when I am sad, poetry cheers me up and when I am happy poetry becomes a way to express it. Even at the worst of times, when I was admitted to the hospital, poetry kept me going. It is a form of expression that inspires. I feel that hum sabkeandarekkavichupahai. I have been writing for a very long time, it keeps me rooted and I feel that emotions which can\u2019t be shown can be expressed through poetry.
