Bargarh has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.600\/- (Rupees Six Hundred) from complainant Sri Sarbeswar Bisi of village-Nandanmal, PS-Binka, Dist. Subarnapur in order to issue death certificate in respect of a relative of the complainant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 4.3.2021.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Sri Manoj Kumar Swain, V.S Clerk was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division in his office room while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.600\/- (Rupees Six Hundred)\u00a0from complainant Sri Bisi.\u00a0The bribe money was recovered from the pant pocket of Sri Swain and seized in presence of witnesses. Both hands wash of Sri Swain as well as wash of his pant pocket gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him.\u00a0\u00a0The residential house of Sri Swain at village Dang, Bargarh town is being searched. The accused Sri Swain, VS Clerk has been arrested and is being forwarded to the\u00a0Court of Spl.
