Sambalpur has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,500\/- (Rupees Five Thousand Five Hundred) from\u00a0 complainant Sri Soumya Ranjan Pradhan of village Rairakhol, Dist. Sambalpur for Hydrocele operation of his uncle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 1.3.2021.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Dr. Bipin Bihari Sahoo, SDMO was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division in Labour Room-cum-OT complex of Sub-Divisional Hospital, Rairakhol while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,500\/- (Rupees Five Thousand Five Hundred)\u00a0from complainant Sri Pradhan.\u00a0The bribe money was recovered from the pant pocket of Dr. Sahoo and seized in presence of witnesses. Right hand wash of Dr. Sahoo as well as his pant pocket wash gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him. His residential houses at Sonepur and Majhipali, Dist. Sambalpur are being searched.
