While the country&#8217;s e-commerce and logistics sectors&#13;<br \/>\naren&#8217;t as developed as other Asia Pacific markets, the traditional consumer&#13;<br \/>\nmarkets have remained robust and are assisting in the economic recovery.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>In&#13;<br \/>\nview of the economic demands, the sectors earmarked for highest hiring activity&#13;<br \/>\nare e-commerce, financial services, healthcare &amp; life sciences, technology&#13;<br \/>\n&amp; telecommunications as well as fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>According to the report, there is a strong&#13;<br \/>\ndemand for technology professionals at all levels where companies have adjusted&#13;<br \/>\nto the rapidly evolving business landscape, often bringing in external skills&#13;<br \/>\nsets to accelerate these changes. Separately, we&#8217;re seeing an increase in&#13;<br \/>\nhiring across e-commerce particularly within fintech, logistics and consumer&#13;<br \/>\nplatforms. &#8220;Acquiring and retaining high potential talent will be crucial to enable&#13;<br \/>\ncompanies to build sustainable operations to position for future growth,&#8221;&#13;<br \/>\nobserves <b>Olly Riches.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13; <\/p>\n<p>According&#13;<br \/>\nto the report, 76% of employed technology professionals in the Philippines anticipate&#13;<br \/>\nlooking for new opportunities in 2021 while another 20% is open to new ones.
