Cuttack,01\/02\/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Debendra Kumar Praharaj, Sub-Inspector of Excise, Belpahar Excise Section, Dist. Jharsuguda, his (1) residential building at Budharaja, Dist. Sambalpur, (2) house of relative at Govindatala, Dist. Sambalpur, (3) office room of Sri Praharaj at Belpahar Excise Section, Jharsuguda and office room of his spouse in the office of Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Northern Division, Sambalpur were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 1.2.2021 by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.<\/p>\n

In course of search and inventory, Sri Debendra Kumar Praharaj, Sub-Inspector of Excise has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,20,56,655<\/strong>\/- (Rupees One Crore Twenty Lakhs Fifty-six Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-five)<\/strong> including one double-storied building, three numbers of plots, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks, investment in Insurance policies, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.<\/p>\n

\u00a0During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Praharaj and his family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
