Cuttack,29\/01\/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- <\/strong>On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Basant Kumar Mohanty, Revenue Inspector (RI) (Retired), and presently reengaged and working as in-charge RI of Puri South and Balukhanda-108, Revenue Circle, Dist. Puri, his (1) single-storied residential building at Friends Club Lane, Puri, (2) Triple-storied building at Kumuti Bagicha, Puri, (3) double-storied building at Church Lane, Puri, (4) single-storied building at his native village Kurunti, Dist. Kendrapara, (5) houses of relatives at Friends Club Lane and at Balukhanda-151, Puri, (6) house of associates at Church Lane, Puri, and\u00a0 (7) office rooms at Puri South Revenue Circle and Balukhanda Revenue Circle were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 29.1.2021 by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.<\/p>\n

In course of search and inventory, Sri Basant Kumar Mohanty, RI(Retd) has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,53,49,067<\/strong>\/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty-three Lakhs Forty-nine Thousand Sixty-seven)<\/strong> including one triple-storied building, one double-storied building, two numbers of single-storied buildings, one plot, five numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.<\/p>\n
