Sundargarh has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Rourkela Division for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,000\/- (Rupees Five Thousand) from\u00a0 complainant Smt. Kalpana Patel, Ex-Multi Purpose Health Worker (Female), Mangaspur CHC, Dist. Sundargarh in order to regularize her \u00a0leave period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 29.1.2021.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Dr. Sradhakar Gartia, MO was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Rourkela Division while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,000\/- (Rupees Five Thousand)\u00a0from complainant Smt. Patel. The bribe money was recovered from the possession of Dr. Gartia and seized in presence of witnesses. Right hand wash of Dr. Gartia gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him.\u00a0\u00a0Residential government quarter and office room of Dr. Gartia at Sundargarh and residential building at Sambalpur are being searched.
