Kalahandi has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Koraput Division for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of <strong>Rs.30,000\/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand)<\/strong> from complainant Sri Upendra Behera of Village- Jamunasagar, PS- Bhawanipatna Sadar, Dist- Kalahandi in order to influence the higher authority for appointment of complaint\u2019s spouse as Asha Karmi under Sub-Centre Duarsuni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 6.1.2021.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Sri Anil Kumar Senapati, Male Health Worker was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Koraput Division in his residential house at Kumachha Pada, Bhawanipatna\u00a0 while demanding and accepting bribe of <strong>Rs.30,000\/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand)<\/strong>\u00a0from complainant Sri Behera.\u00a0The bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Senapati and seized in presence of witnesses. His both hands wash gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him.\u00a0\u00a0His residential house at Kumachha Pada, Bhawanipatna is being searched.
