Cuttack,30\/12\/2020 ( Odisha Samachar \/ Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Prasanta Kumar Nayak, Clerk, Lingaraj Law College, Berhampur, Dist. Ganjam, his (1) residential triple-storied building at Aska Road, Berhampur, (2) double-storied building at Bank colony, Berhampur, (3) double-storied godown at Aska Road, Berhampur, and (4) two numbers of rented godowns at Berhampur were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 30.12.2020 by the officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.<\/p>\n

In course of search and inventory, Sri Prasanta Kumar Nayak, Clerk was found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,57,68,428<\/strong>\/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty-seven Lakhs Sixty-eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-eight)<\/strong> including one triple-storied building, two double-storied buildings, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different banks & post offices, gold & silver ornaments, cash of over Rs.11.23 Lakhs<\/strong> and household articles.<\/p>\n

\u00a0During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Nayak and his family members.<\/p>\n
