Jajpur has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.3,000\/- (Rupees Three Thousand) from complainant Sri Santosh Kumar Sahu of village Kusupur, PS-Mahanga, Dist. Cuttack in order to process and issue Annual Inspection Report in favour of the complainant .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accordingly, a trap was laid on 30.12.2020.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Sri Raghunath Panda, Peon-cum-packer was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division\u00a0 inside office room of the Drugs Inspector, while demanding and accepting bribe of\u00a0Rs.3,000\/- (Rupees Three Thousand)\u00a0from complainant Sri Sahu.\u00a0Accused\u00a0Sri Panda directed the complainant to keep the bribe money in a file kept on the office table. The bribe money was recovered and seized in presence of witnesses. Wash of the contacted portion of the said file gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance of bribe money by the accused.\u00a0\u00a0The house of accused Sri Panda \u00a0at Bishnupur, PS-Dhamnagar, Dist. Bhadrak is being searched.
