By taking the lead partner role, the Group has given support for a<br \/>\nfeat of extraordinary human determination on 9 January 2021 &#8211; wheelchair climber,<br \/>\nLai Chi-wai, will scale the Group&#8217;s landmark headquarters building, the<br \/>\n300-metre Nina Tower in Tsuen Wan, by hauling himself up purely through his<br \/>\nupper body strength. The donation amount made by the Group could reach up to HK$3,000,000<br \/>\nin total. HKU&#8217;s Spinal Cord Injury Treatment &amp; Rehabilitation Services<br \/>\nfocuses on helping spinal cord injury patients and patients with mobility<br \/>\nproblems regain mobility with the help of exoskeletons, as well as conducting relevant<br \/>\nresearch, so that they might be able to &#8220;Get Up and Walk&#8221; again.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a caring developer<br \/>\ncommitted to bringing positive impact to Hong Kong&#8217;s people, community and<br \/>\nenvironment, we take great pride in creating &#8216;Places with Heart&#8217; where people<br \/>\ncan thrive and participate in community events that promote inclusiveness and<br \/>\nsupport those in need,&#8221; explains Chinachem Group Executive Director and CEO<br \/>\nDonald Choi.\u00a0 &#8220;Lai Chi-wai&#8217;s great<br \/>\ndetermination truly symbolises the Hong Kong spirit &#8212; persistence, diversity<br \/>\nand unity.
