Cuttack,21\/12\/2020 ( Odisha Samachar \/ Dipti Ranjan Kanungo ) – On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Sadasiba Swain, Tax Collector, Khordha Municipality, Dist. Khordha his (1) double-storied residential building at Gurujanga, Dist. Khordha, (2) asbestos house at Gurujanga, Dist. Khordha, (3) house at native village Gurujanga, Dist. Khordha, and (4) office room at Khordha Municipality, Dist. Khordha were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 21.12.2020 by the officers of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.<\/p>\n

In course of search and inventory, Sri Sadasiba Swain, Tax Collector was found in possession of assets worth Rs.56,92,257<\/strong>\/- (Rupees Fifty-six Lakhs Ninety-two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-seven)<\/strong> including one double-storied building, asbestos house, four numbers of plots, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different banks, gold and silver ornaments, cash of over 1.45 Lakhs<\/strong> and household articles.<\/p>\n

\u00a0During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Swain and his family members.<\/p>\n
