Teachers’ Day celebrated with enthusiasm in city

Bhubaneswar, 05/09/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty ): Commemorating the birth anniversary of first President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Teachers’ Day was celebrated with much fervour and enthusiasm in the city on Tuesday.Teachers day 1
Students of various educational institutions, including Saraswati Sisu Mandir (Unit-3), DAV Public School (Unit-8) and BJEM School celebrated the day with special arrangements of sweets, cakes, food and gifts for their teachers.
“Teachers’ Day is an occasion to honour the incomparable contribution of teachers in shaping the lives of students. We have conducted Guru Puja in our school as a mark of respect to them”, says Elvina Mohanty, a Class-III student of Santanu English Medium School.Teachers day 2
