Kali Puja to be celebrated with religious fervour in city

Bhubaneswar, 19/10 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty ) : With the people across the city are gearing up to celebrate Kali Puja with religious fervour and gaiety, Sri Sri Satyakali Mandira Parichalana Samiti in Satya Nagar is all set to celebrate its 32nd year with much zeal this year. The puja will begin from October 23 to November 1, 2014. Maa Kali will be worshipped in ten different “Vesas” for the ten days. Maa Kali will be worshipped in Mahakali Vesa on October 23.The programme will begin with the Kalash Adhivas at 6:30 am, puja and Chandi Patha, Balidaan at 12 am, Bhog, Alati and Puspanjali at 2 am. The Ghata Bisarjan will be held at 4 am on October 24. Maa Kali will be worshipped in Tara Vesa, Sodashi Vesa, Bhubaneswari Vesa, Bhairabi Besa, Chinna Masta Vesa, Dhumabati Vesa, Bagala Vesa, Matangi Vesa and Kamala Vesa during respectively.
According to the Manager of Sri Sri Satyakali Mandira Parichalana Samiti Biraja Prasad Das, a slew of festive activities have been put in place to lure visitors from across the city. The Meena Bazaar, Ram Doli, temporary food stalls and other entertainment facilities would be available for the visitors.

Committee President Prafulla Kar, Vice President Buddhadev Tripathy, Secretary Ashok Kumar Swain and Joint Secretary Sushant Kumar Mohapatra have decided to perform the puja in a systematic way.
