Bhubaneswar, 21/01 ( Odisha Samachar/Abhisek Mohanty) : Talk Bhubaneswar, Youth Forum supported by Ek Chesta, an NGO organised a programme titled ‘Vision -2030 Bhubaneswar-The Urban Environmental Progress’ lead by Miss. Shristi Roy and Miss. Pooja Mishra at Indira Gandhi Park here in the city on Wednesday.
Students from different schools participated in the programme with their dreams and ideas showing their skills on paper, pencil and colour. Those beautiful drawings and paintings were on display in front of the park and were very much appreciated by the viewers.
The city residents got the message from those paintings that the children of today are very much hopeful for more greener and eco-friendly environment in Bhubaneswar by 2030. The children are also aspirant for a beautiful, green, clean, safe, secured and developed Bhubaneswar-2030.
The programme was graced by the august presence of Padma Bibhusan Raghunath Mohapatra, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and Dr. Pitabas Sahoo (Town and Regional Planning, BDA). All the dignitaries praised the noble endeavour of students and distributed prizes to them. The dignitaries also thanked Talk Bhubaneswar and Ek Chesta for continuously organising social awareness programmes in the city.
