Bhubaneswar,07/01 ( Odisha Samachar/Abhisek Mohanty) : With a view to address the challenges of unemployment in the country, Modi Government has introduced Made in India programme and created the skill development ministry. This was highlighted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah at a press conference on Wednesday here.
Throwing light on the various achievements of BJP Government like controlling price hike of essential commodities, he said in seven months, price of petrol and diesel was reduced in the last seven months. He also highlighted the steps taken by Modi Government including Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Adarsh Gram Yojana and Jan Dhan Yojana. The new policy on mines auction is going to benefit Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. It is a significant step of the Modi Government as these States will receive the money earned from auction.
Stating that only 14 percent people have access to safe drinking water, 22 percent have toilets at their homes and nearly 46 percent of State’s population still remains below poverty line, Shah alleged that there is no considerable development in Odisha after 14 years of BJD’s rule.
