Bhubaneswar, 26/07/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty): The employees of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) under the banner of Utkal Paryatan Nigam Employees Association have decided to launch cease-work agitation on July 28 seeking
fulfillment of their seven-point charter of demands.
“Utkal Paryatan Nigam Employees Association, being a recognized association, have been requesting the management for resolving the longstanding issues of the employees, the management did not pay heed over the same. Hence, the association has decided to hold cease-work agitation and dharana to put pressure on the management to sort out our problems”, said association vice president Benudhara Patra.
The major demands of the association include regularization of the NMR employees who have already rendered services for more than 10 years, formulation of cadre rule of the employees, approved by the State Tourism Department, regularization of contractual employees’ services with grade pay and provision of RACP (Special Increment) for OTDC employees.
