Bhubaneswar, 28/08/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty )- : The members of Odisha Industrial Security should commit themselves towards professionalism in terms of providing security to different establishments, which will contribute immensely to the economic growth of the State, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday.
Speaking at the passing out parade of the first batch recruit constables of OISF at the 7th Battalion here, the Chief Mnister said, “As many as 1289 constables, including 203 women constables are passing out today after completion of their 270 days of training. It is for the first time that women have been inducted to the armed police wing in Odisha. It is heartening to know that in outdoor subjects, women constables have performed very well by securing 8 out of 10 top slots. I congratulate Purnima Mohapatra for being the overall topper of the batch.”
“The officers for commandant to havildars have undergone training for a period of 45 days in industrial security to provide effective leadership to the force. The OISF is going to be deployed in different industrial establishments after their passing out day”, he added.
