Bhubaneswar, 22/11/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty )- The Odisha Chapter of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is all set to organize its 34th National Convention at Hotel Mayfair from December 7.
Announcing about the National Convention of Indian Institute of Architects (NATCON) at a press conference here on Wednesday, Organising Committee Chairman Ramesh Chandra Swain said, “NATCON is the largest annual convention of architects in India as around 1, 200 leading architects, urban planners and technocrats from architects from different parts of the country.”
Speaking on the occasion, IIA Odisha Chapter Chairman Sagarendra Mohapatra said, “We are happy to get such an opportunity to organize this mega event in Bhubaneswar. The theme of the event is Architectural Footprints, Impact on Cities. There will be a series of panel discussion, speaker’s note, presentation, question and answer sessions on different themes like socio-cultural imprint, infrastructure & technology, environment & sustainability, legislation & reforms during the three-day event.”
The convention will also witness the participation of international experts, who will participate in different brain storming sessions and present their views, Mohapatra added. The press conference was attended by NATCON Organising Committee Co-Convenors Nishit Nanda, Raj Kunwar Nayak and Mousami Nanda.
