Bhubaneswar , 23/4 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty ): On the occasion of International Earth Day, Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), a Government of India Organisation under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas joined hands with Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC), the only State Transport Undertaking and a Government of Odisha Public Sector Undertaking by signing a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) for imparting training to about 700 drivers of the OSRTC through PCRA’s flagship drivers training programme. The drivers training instructors of PCRA shall impart training to the drivers of OSRTC in batches at 4 different venues for improving fuel efficient driving habits. The objective is to conserve diesel and bring in best practices of driving. The MoU was signed at OSRTC office in Bhubaneswar.
P.K. Raychoudhuri, the Chief Regional Coordinator (CRC), Eastern Region of PCRA and S. Patel, General Manager, OSRTC signed the MOU in presence of Debasis Ransingh, Joint Director of PCRA and Dilip Upadhaya, DGM (Technical) of OSRTC.
