Maoists thrash three on suspicion of being police informers

Malkangiri/Bhubaneswar, 11/12/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty ) : Maoists thrashed three villagers, including former sarpanch Arjun Hental, on Sunday night on suspicion of being informers of police.

The members of the outlawed CPI (Maoists) organisation abducted the victims from their houses and produced them before a praja court conducted by them in a forest near Panasput village in Chitrakonda area. Later, the rebels thrashed them severely alleging that they were
police informers.

The Maoists then released them in an injured state and fled the spot.
