Bhubaneswar,28/12 ( Odisha Samachar Bureau ) – The 3rd day of International dance festival witnessed some memorable performances by young, established and legendary dancers in its two sessions. The afternoon session featured Group, Duet, Solo performances by Jessica Borale (Solo) from USA, Sigma Satabdi Pradhan (Solo) from Bangalore, Lipsha Sahu & Sudipta Ratha (Duet) and Swetalina Pattnaik (Solo) from Bhubaneswar, Lina Das (Solo) from Balasore, Avaylaxmi & Siddharth Dehuri (Duet) from Bangalore, Dr. Priyanka (Solo) from Paralakhemundi and Group dance by Rourkela Music Circle from Rourkela.
The evening programme was started with Ka Champu Ki helare kahita nuhane set to Rag-Saberi, Tal-Tripata and music was composed by Satyabrata Katha and Choreographed and danced by Manjushree Panda. Followed by Madana Mohan Astakam set to Rag & Tal – Malika by the duos Tagari Gain & Dushmanta Moharana. Her dance was choreographed by Muktilata Pal and Music by A. Maheswar Rao & Swapneswar Chakraborti. Next item of the evening was To Lagi Gopa Danda Mana set to Rag-Sankaravarana and Tal-Jhula performed by Lipsha Mohapatra. Her presentation was choreographed by Guru Niranjan Rout, music by K. Rama Rao Patra and Rhythm by Guru Bijaya Kumar Barik. Followed by Deepam Jyoti Parambrahma set to Rag-Bairagi and Tal-Ektali performed by renowned duos Madhusmita Swain & Dibya Priyadarshini Swain. Next item was Rase Hari Miha set to Rag-Kalabati and Tal-Ektali performed by the solo dancer Manosmita Panda. Followed by Nachanti Krushna Ki Madhure set to Rag-Basanti and Tal-Malika presented by the duos Lipsha Dash & Gourishankar. Next presentation was To Lagi Gopa Danda Mana set to Rag-Sankaravarana and Tal-Jhula performed by the solo dancer Meghna Das. The last group presentation was by Dona Ganguly and group from Kolkata. The artistes of the institution presented Durga set to Rag-Malika and Tal-Jati and the artistes of the Nrutyalaya presented Charchihastaka set to Rag & Tal – Malika.
