Bhubaneswar, 16/11/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty )- : Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the single window portal GO SWIFT on the occasion of the 75th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) at state secretariat here
The Chief Minister also dedicated 15 new industrial projects to the people of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “I am pleased to know that the state single window clearance authority is holding its 75th meeting today. This has been a landmark initiative of the state government and has borne commendable results in attracting industries and industrial investments. It is due to the collaborative efforts of all departments of our government that the state is consistently ranked amongst the top three states in terms of live investments in India. I am also happy to have dedicated the unique government of Odisha’s single window and investors’ facilitation and tracking GO SHIFT portal to the investors’ community. All support required by an industrial unit during investment lifecycle of the project including 32 approvals and clearances from 15 departments will be provided online. All these proposals and clearances required by industries will be delivered as per timelines laid down. The departments should ensure optimal utilization of the portal.”
“As I dedicated 15 projects to our people today, I would like to reiterate my government’s commitment towards industrial development in the state. To achieve the vision 2025 of attracting 2.5 lakh crore rupees of new investments and generating 30 lakh jobs for our citizens in the focused sectors of the state government, all the departments will have to work together”, the CM said.
Industries Minister Niranjan Pujari, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, Development Commissioner R Balakrishnan and other senior government officials were present in the meeting.
