Bhubaneswar, 29/08/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty )-: Odisha Government on Tuesday implemented the 7th Pay Commission recommendations for its employees and pensioners.
“My government has decided to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Committee constituted for examination of the 7th Central Pay Commission Report and its adoption for the state government employees. About 4.5 lakh serving State Government employees and 3.5 lakh retired State Government employees will get enhanced emoluments and higher pension respectively. Annual expenditure on this count would be about Rs 4, 500 crore”, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The government employees will get the pay hike from September month salary onwards, he added.
