Bhubaneswar,29/1 ( Odisha Samachar Bureau ) – Senior people of the slum got amazed when Pragyan parimita Sahoo, a 13 years old girl raised issue of traffic problem and how children of her age are victim of that before the newly elected corporator of ward no 22 under Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. Around 50 children like pragyan from Bharatpur Slum of ward no 22 today submitted a charter of demand for a better living condition in their slum before the newly elected Cooperator Mr. Harekrushna Nayak. Pragyan and her friends also stressed on the incident that a young girl had died there due to poor traffic and rough driving.
Gayatree (12) also urged Mr Nayak to have a police outpost close to their slum which can solve many issues and can lessen the unwanted activities nearby. Whereas Rajesh das (10) had complains of not having playground for children in the locality. Issues like sanitation, garbage cleaning, regular water supply etc were also raised by children. Child representatives then submitted a charter of Demand to Mr Nayak.
