Bhubaneswar, 02/11/2017 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhisek Mohanty )- : The women wing of the BJD on Thursday announced to launch protest against LPG price hike.
Addressing a press conference here, Biju Mahila Janata Dal President Pramila Mallick said, “The party activists led by senior leaders will stage demonstration before Raj Bhawan tomorrow. Protest meetings and demonstrations will also be organized in front of the offices of three Revenue Divisional Commissioners across the state on November 6.”
The women activists of the party will also stage dharana in all the 314 blocks of the state, if the decision is not withdrawn at the earliest, she said.
The Centre has hiked the price of non-subsidized LPG by Rs 93 to Rs 742 per bottle and Rs 4.50 paise per cylinder respectively on Wednesday.
