ELogo-BlueBhubaneswar,31/03 ( Odisha Samachar/Abhisek Mohanty) : Airports Authority of India (AAI) is celebrating its 20th annual day at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi on April, 1 2015. As a part of its celebrations, some of the Airports have been identified to grant award based on ASQ Survey/CSI Survey.

Airports Authority of India (AAI) manages a total of 125 Airports, which include 11 International Airports, 08 Customs Airports, 81 Domestic Airports and 25 Civil Enclaves and Defence Airfields. AAI also provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) over entire Indian Air Space and adjoining oceanic areas with ground installations at all Airports and 25 other locations to ensure safety of Aircraft operations.

AAI’s endeavour, in enhanced focus on ‘customer’s expectations’, has evinced enthusiastic response to independent agency, which has organised customer satisfaction surveys at 30 busy Airports. These surveys have enabled us to undertake improvements on aspects recommended by the Airport users. The receptacles for our ‘Business Reply Letters’ at Airports have gained popularity; these responses enable us to understand the changing aspirations of Airport users. During the first year of the millennium, AAI endeavours to make its operations more transparent and also make available the instantaneous information to customers by deploying state-of-art Information Technology.

In its continuous efforts to provide best services to the Air passengers, Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar secured 3rd Position in CSI Survey based on year 2014 with a rating 4.68 out of 5.0 under Other Airports Category.

Sharad Kumar, Airport Director will be receiving the Award on behalf of stake holders of Bhubaneswar Airport. Sharad Kumar congratulated all the employees and stake holders of Bhubaneswar Airport and said that this could be achieved with the enormous co-operation of all the employees, stake holders and concessioners of Bhubaneswar Airport and will try to further improve the standards in the forthcoming period to make the Bhubaneswar Airport as best maintained Airport. : Developping Odia News websites
