Bhubaneswar ,21/3 ( Odisha Samachar/Anuja Nayak)- the one day awareness programme in Salia Sahi slum Nayapalli Bhubaneswar family counsellor were organized by the Indian Red Cross Society Odisha State Branch. In this programme 50 volunteers were participate. The main objective of awareness programme was to promote women’s value in this society and their right. The one-day awareness programme inaugurated by Dr. Mangala Prasad Mohanty, Honorary Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha State Branch as the chief guest. In his address he said that women are play the pivotal role in our society and he also said that in which process we clean our hand. Women are important in our society. In the early days women were seen only as wives who were intended to cook, clean and take care of her kids. Until the second half of the 20th Centaury women in more societies denied some of the legal and political rights according men. If a women is educated then her family is educated. Finally he said Red Cross Value and role in our society.
