Art and craft training in the adopted village by CUO

ELogo-Blue2Koraput , 19/01 ( Odisha Samachar )-Under the continuous inspiration and encouragement of Prof. Sachidananda Mohanty, Honourable Vice Chancellor; the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of Central University of Orissa conducted art and craft training programme in the University adopted village. The art and craft training programme was conducted in the Prathamika Sevashram, Rajpalma on 16th January 2016.CU 1

In this programme, with Dr. Jayanta Kumar Nayak, Nodal Officer of UBA Cell; Prof. K.C. Raut, Dean academics of the University; and members of the UBA Cell Dr. Pradosh Kumar Rath, Dr. Alok Baral, Dr. Ramendra Kumar Parhi and fine art faculty of Department of Teacher Education Ms. B. Soren presented. The Prathamika Sevashram’s teachers Mr. R. K. Behera, Ms. A. Dalai, and Mr. N. C. Nag supported to do this activity there.

CU 2

 Fourty students from class – IV, V, VI and VII participated in this programme. Through this programme students got training on preparation of several paper craft and different colour painting activities. At last, as a token of gift, one pen was gifted to each participating students. It is planed that such type of training programmes will be conducted continuously in all the adopted villages and after six months, one art mela will be organised in the University premises and best performers will be awarded. CU 3 : Developping Odia News websites
